Default Where are the Koreans?

Just sorted the ladder by zones a few minutes ago, and I only found 25 korean guilds in the top 1000.

Did they all left GW for another game or what?

They don't want to be like us. I don't blame them, because a lot of "us" say things like you just said.

Must be some good guilds, cause the "k0reans" win a lot of favor.

well to be honest, koreans are still around but americans and europeans have already caught up to them in skills and now surpassed them. they are still playing, but dont have the dominance that they once did.

In my gaming experience, people in the Korean/Japan cultures tend to play games a LOT more, and a LOT more seriously. So it's not surprising that they got to the top quickly at the beginning. Like the person above said, people from the other servers are now at to the point where they've got the skill & experience necessary to match the talent of the Korean teams, so you're seeing a lot more.

Also, if you look at the number of matches they did, Koreans tend to do more (like I said, there tends to be more hardcore gamers in those areas). So after the reset, that put everyone on an equal ground and I'm sure that's also changed the lineup a lot.

i noticed that europe has the favor every time i log on, only to be stolen by the US later on. i've only seen korea have the favor about 5-10 times within the past few weeks.

But why is there only 25 korean guilds in the top 1000 guilds in the ladder? That's really a very small number...

Maybe they banish the weaker guilds to other countries, like Laos or the Philippines.

Guild Wars was not a big hit in Korea. Not even a hit, really....
